Here are the 90% (completed) sketch renders of the staircase. This is REV 11. I'm heartily sick of staircases about now, but overwhelmingly impressed with 3d modelling packages. If only I new what I was doing....
Of course, as far as revising designs can go, this bears scant resemblance to REV 1. That's progress.
These are the additional Gallery interior cell-renders:
I'll be taking a good hard look at removing the building at the corner of Ranwell Ln and Gipps St. Obviously, any design proposal will be less claustrophobic. And a neat little twist is the resumption of Mead Ln and placing the access on the next block -Take that powerless small business! Ha!
Well, to celebrate reducing the polygons in the roof models from an staggeringly inefficient 300,000+ down to a more frugal 5,000, I've celebrated with a little procrastination aimed at developing for the final crit, some delightful animations; colourful marbles spilling down stairs, grass swaying lazily on the 'green roof' as the camera dollys along - that kind of thing.
